Travelling around the world by plane seems to be the best way for most tourists in the world, without using the services of the airline seems impossible to reach far destinations from the country of origin of the tourists.

Thor Pedersen, 38, citing the site KompasTravel, January 4, he was able to prove to places in the world do not have to use the services of the airline. A trip to visit 203 countries without the use of aircraft, and to date only been reached as many as 122 countries in the world.

He told me recently, "I thought this project in early 2013. At that time, my father sent an article that made me think if I can get around the world. At that time, I was 34 years old and felt I was too old, but friends inspire me to go."

It was on October 10, 2013, when he decided to leave, after preparation for 10 months, is a great determination.

And as you know in advance, he applies specific rules on this huge project, which is not allowed to use air transport and in a state he must spend at least 24 hours.

His heart is steady, he departed. The adventure begins, he learned many things on the way, as well as using a variety of transportation from the train, bus, until the ship.

Previous experience has helped, he does have a background of working experience in world logistics, transportation, and shipping. Background jobs in 20 states in the areas he controlled, to finally arrive at the idea, he wanted to venture into various countries in the world.

"In Africa, with all its diversity, I have traveled from one country to another using all transport, ranging from taxis, minibuses, sitting on the truck, Uber, and motorcycle taxis."

He enthusiastically described his experiences in the Caribbean, riding a variety of means of transportation, cruise ships, speed boats, banana boat, sailboat, until the cargo ships and containers.

The biggest challenge in his journey is a visa and permission to travel by boat, including a trip while browsing the Arctic in winter.

"It took many months and I was traveling with seven different vessels, from fishing vessels, shrimp catcher, until the container ship."

Travels in Sierra Leone to be so memorable, while visiting a wedding party an hour after he arrived, met with the funny people of Nigeria.

Maybe his girlfriend visit into something sweet when he venture to Mount Kenya National Park, the second highest mountain in Africa.
